In this documentation, we will guide you through the steps required to create attendance records for students who are subscribed to courses, as well as provide an overview of the various features and functionalities available within the module.

Accessing the Attendance Module

To access the "Attendance" module, staff members need to log in to the Campustom dashboard and select the campus they want to manage. Once they have navigated to the selected campus, they can find the "Course Attendance" section in the navigational panel. Clicking on this section will take them to the course attendance page.

Course Attendance Page

On the course attendance page, staff members can view the attendance status of all courses for a given date. They also have the option to switch to past dates using the date picker, allowing them to view past attendance records. The attendance records are displayed as course names along with the corresponding attendance status.

To mark attendance for a specific course, staff members need to click on the course for which they want to take attendance on the course attendance page. This action will navigate them to the "Attendance" tab, located on the Course info page.

Attendance Tab

In the Attendance tab, staff members can view the attendance list for all rooms associated with the selected course on a given date. Clicking on a room item will prompt a dialog that contains the attendance records of students who are subscribed to the selected course room, if any exist. If no attendance records exist, a Create attendance button will be displayed. Staff members need to click this button to initiate the attendance creation procedure.

Marking Attendance

Once the attendance dialog is displayed, staff members can mark the attendance of students who are present in the selected course room. Each student item will have an attendance status indicated by a check mark icon. Staff members should mark the attendance of students who are present and leave the others unchecked, indicating their absence. After marking the attendance, staff members need to click the Save button to save the attendance records. It is important to note that once the attendance is saved, it cannot be edited.
