How to apply for leave

The Leaves module in Campustom provides a convenient way for staff members and students to request leave and track the status of their leave applications. By following the steps outlined in this documentation, users will be able to navigate through the module and successfully apply for leave.

Accessing your leave requests

To access the Leaves module, follow these steps:

  1. Login to the Campustom Dashboard using your credentials.
  2. Navigate to the 'Campus' where you want to apply for leave.
  3. Look for the navigation panel, usually located on the left-hand side of the dashboard.
  4. Locate and click on the Leaves option in the navigation panel.

To apply for leave, follow these steps:

  1. After navigating to the Leaves module, you will see a section called My Leaves.
  2. In the My Leaves section, you will find a button labeled Apply Leave. Click on this button.

  4. Select the reason for leave from the drop-down menu.
  5. Choose the start and end dates for your leave duration using the date pickers.
  6. Enter a message explaining the reason for your leave in the "Message" text area.
  7. After entering all the necessary information, click the Submit button to send your leave request.
  8. Once submitted, your leave request will be in a pending state until it is reviewed by the admin.

Checking Leave Status

To check the status of your leave application, follow these steps:

  1. After submitting your leave request, return to the "Leaves" module.
  2. In the My Leaves section, you will see a list of all your applied leaves.
  3. Each leave request will be displayed with its corresponding status - either Approved, Pending, or Rejected.

Admin Approval Process

Once you have submitted your leave request, it will be reviewed by the admin. The admin will either approve or reject the leave request based on various factors. Here is how the admin approval process works:

  1. The admin will review your leave request and make a decision.
  2. If your leave request is approved, the status will be updated to Approved in the My Leaves section.
  3. If your leave request is rejected, the status will be updated to Rejected in the My Leaves section.
  4. You can check the updated status of your leave request by navigating back to the Leaves module and reviewing the My Leaves section.
