Create and manage students
You can manage the creation, modification, and deletion of students on your campus at the Students page. On their student profile pages, you can track their daily attendance reports, course subscriptions, and score cards. The subscription plan that you purchase determines how many active students you can add.
Create student
Create Student in following steps
- Visit the Campustom Dashboard and navigate to the campus that the admin wants to manage.
- Once on the desired campus page, use the navigational panel to locate and select the Students module.
- Now enter student details such as first name, last name, email, phone, etc in the displayed form. Entering the correct student email address allows students to log into their dashboard and view there attendance, reports etc. Finally, click the Save button to save the transport
Update student details
To make changes to a student information, follow these steps:
- Navigate to the "Students" module within the Campustom Dashboard.
- Select the student whose information you wish to modify.
- On the student info page, click the "Edit" button. This action will trigger the student edit form.
- Edit the student information as needed using the provided form.
- Once you have made the necessary changes, click the "Save" button to save the modifications.
Deactivate or reactivate student member's account
If you are the staff member with proper access roles and you think a student is no longer needed but you want to retain the student data, you can deactivate them. Inactivated students can't log in to your campus, and their profiles are not listed publicly and can only be accessed by administrators using list filters. This section will guide you through the process of activating and deactivating students on campus.
Follow following steps to Deactivate/Reactivate a student:
- Visit the Campustom Dashboard. and navigate to the campus that the admin wants to manage.
- Once on the desired campus page, use the navigational panel to locate and select the "Students" module.
- Select the student you want to deactivate or reactivate from the students list.and click that link. This action will navigate you to the selected student information page.
- Locate the Activate/Inactivate button. This toggle will indicate the current state of the student (active or inactive).
- To activate an inactive student, click on the toggle button to change its state to active.
- To deactivate an active student, click on the toggle switch to change its state to inactive. When a student is in an inactive state, that student is not able to access your campus dashboard and view there records.
You can reactivate the student at anytime by clicking "Activate" button.
Delete a student from campus
On campus, super administrators, administrators, or admissions managers have the ability to create students. However, there may be situations where you want to delete a student that is no longer needed. This documentation outlines the process for deleting a student.
To delete a student, follow these steps:
- Log in to the Campustom Dashboard and select campus you want to make changes.
- Navigate to the Students section of the app using navigational panel.
- Locate the student that needs to be deleted and navigate into the About section. You can search for the student by name.
- Click on the Delete button on upper right corner.
- A confirmation prompt will appear to ensure that you want to delete the student. Review the information and verify that you are deleting the correct student.
- Confirm the deletion by clicking on the Delete button.
- After confirming deletion, the system will move the deleted student to the recycle bin. The system will automatically permanently delete it after 30 days. But you can restore it from the bin if you delete it accidentally.
