Managing exams and results
The Exams module in campustom provides a comprehensive platform for teachers to create and manage exams for courses within specific duration's. This module allows teachers to efficiently organize exams, upload results, and provides valuable data analysis that can be accessed by college administrators, students, and parents.
Campus administrators can access exam data to monitor overall performance and make informed decisions. Students can view their exam results, track their progress, and identify areas where additional effort is required. Parents can keep track of their child's performance and actively participate in their academic journey. This section of the documentation aims to provide a detailed overview of the functionalities and features available within the Exams module.
Creating Exam Group
To create exam group follow below steps:
- Visit the Campustom Dashboard and navigate to the campus that the admin wants to manage.
- Once on the desired campus page, use the navigational panel to locate and select the Exams module.
- Upon entering the Exams module, click on the New button in the upper right corner, and as a response, a form will appear.
- You need to simply fill out a form with essential details such as the name, course, and start and end dates for the exam group, ensuring effective scheduling and planning.
- Save the exam group by clicking on the Save button.
Exam Creation
Ones exam group is created with the above steps. Follow these steps to create an exam.
- Select and click the exam group you created in the above steps from the list of exam groups. This action will navigate you to the exam group information page.
- Once you navigated to the exam group information page, Identify "Exams" sections.
- After identifying the "Exams" section, click the Create Exam button. This action prompts a form to create an exam.
- In the displayed form, fill in the necessary details, such as the course room, subject, grade sheet, date of the exam, and timing of the exam.
- After entering the necessary detail in the form, click the Save button to save the exam.
Uploading Results
Once exams are conducted, teachers can easily upload the results into the system. This feature eliminates the need for manual result management, enhancing efficiency and accuracy. The results can be securely stored and accessed by authorized personnel.
To upload results follow these steps:
- Visit the Campustom Dashboard and navigate to the campus that the admin wants to manage.
- After navigating the desired campus dashboard, go to the "Exams" module and navigate to the exam group where you want to upload the exam results.
- Once on the desired exam group info page, you will find the "Exams" section. Click on the exam item from the exam list that you want to upload results. This action will navigate you to the exam info page.
- Upon entering the exam information page, you can see the "Results" section at the bottom of the "About" section. Now click the "Edit Results" button located in the "Results" section. This action will open a page that contains all students in the subscribed course room.
- In the displayed form, you can enter exam scores in the respective student field. After entering results, click the Save button to save the results.
