Restore deleted items from the recycle bin

When you delete items from various modules, they are sent to the recycle bin, where you can restore them if you need to. These items are grouped by module type, so you can see who and when they were deleted. This allows you to easily restore any mistakenly deleted record with just a few clicks!

Access recycle bin​

To access the recycle bin, you must be a super administrator on campus. Follow these steps to access:

  1. Login to the Campustom Dashboard using your credentials.
  2. Navigate to the 'Campus' that you want to manage.
  3. Look for the navigation panel, usually located on the left-hand side of the dashboard.
  4. Locate and click on the Recycle Bin option in the navigation panel.

Restore deleted items​

If you want to restore items from the recycle bin, first select which one you want by clicking the checkbox located at each item's left side, then click the restore button located at the top right corner. Then, all items are restored to their original state. Instructions contains restore items from recycle bin

How long are deleted items kept in the Recycle Bin?​

Deleted items are retained for 30 days from the time you delete them from their original location. They stay in the recycle bin the entire time, unless someone deletes or empties the recycle bin.

Empty Recycle bin​

You can delete all items from the recycle bin any time you want before the system automatically clears them by clicking the "Empty Recycle Bin" button. If you want to delete all items from the recycle bin, make sure before deleting them, after that, there is no way to restore them.
